WinTravian is a tool that overlays a windows interface over your favorite Travian browser game to bring you these features:

• runs in it's own window so you don't have to search for it's browser window or tab when you want to play
• minimizes to tray - you can keep it running and don't be bothered by another window in the taskbar while you work
• you get notified by a popup balloon on travian events like:
  • new messages & new reports (you get to read them as soon as they arrive)
  • work in progress that is near completion (don't ever waste time because you forgot to check travian's progress)
  • attacks and reinforcements
• resource time estimates using your own time zone
  • find out when you will have enough resources for an item in a few clicks (buildings, upgrades, units, ...)
  • missing resources are highlighted and the required quantities are shown ( + excess resources so you know what you can sell)

• Q: Is this software legal? Am I breaking the rules by using it?
• A: WinTravian is an enhanced web browser. It does not automate your game play. The rules "clearly" state:

  3 Usage of auxiliaries The usage of any auxiliaries like scripts or bots which automate actions like building things or troop movements is impermissible. This game may only be played with a customary Internet-browser. In addition, it is impermissible to use scripts which change the source code of Travian pages and thus allow players to use Plus features without paying. Furthermore, scripts and bots causing severe server usage such as a map-scanning tools are illicit.

• You should decide for yourself if WinTravian breaks any rules. I think it doesn't but I offer you NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER!!!

• Q: How does the game interface look like?
• A: It's the browser based Travian with some tools added. You can consider WinTravian a web browser customized to play Travian.

• Q: How do I use the resource time estimator?
• A: You select or triple-click the required resources row then click on the timer button in the estimator panel.

• Q: The resource time estimator is not working! When I click the clock nothing happens.
• A: On some systems the clock button fails. As an alternate method you can select the resource line like before and then Right-Click and select Copy...control+c might also do the job... I had reports on this issue from users running Windows Vista

• Q: What Travian Languages are supported?
• A: WinTravian was only tested using the English Travian interface. Some functions might not work as expected when using the interface on non-english servers.

• Q: I have developed a Travian Graphick pack and want to promote it. Can you publish it in WinTravian?
• A: You can email your custom Graphick Packs along with a short description and your contact information to manastur.net@gmail.com Please also specify wich of your contact info can be made public (ex. email, website URL, phone number, etc.). Your Travian Graphic Packs will be available for direct download from WinTravian in a future version.

• Q: The Travian Server I'm playing on is not in the list. How can I play on it? Will you add it to the list?
• A: You can use any Travian Server. Just type it's address in the textbox and click login.

• Q: What operating system is required?
• A: WinTravian was only tested on Microsoft Windows XP (please let me know if you successfully run it on anything else)

• Q: How will I know if a new version has been released?
• A: WinTravian automatically checks for a new version at startup and prompts you to install it.

• Q: I'm having trouble installing WinTravian. How do I ensure a trouble free install?
• A: Please use Internet Explorer to install WinTravian. If you still have problems with the online installer please download the archive from http://manastur.net/WinTravian/WinTravian.zip

• Q: When I install the new version how will I know what features have been added?
• A: You can view the updated feature list on the top of this page but some versions will contain just bug fixes.

• Q: How can I make WinTravian faster? It takes forever to refresh after each click.
• A: There are at least two things you can do to improve it's performance:
  • Install a local graphic pack for Travian. WinTravian will detect the lack of it and assist you in installing one.
  • Install Google Web Accelerator . It also lightens the load on Travian servers.

    NOTE: Google Web Accelerator also prevents new versions of WinTravian from being detected at startup so please visit manastur.net and chose "Don't accelerate this website" from it's menu to be sure the updates go trough and are not cached on some Google server.
